—Why preparation matters

More than a quick coat of paint.

A coating can only perform as well as the surface beneath it. Before any epoxy goes down, we mechanically prepare the concrete with professional diamond grinding equipment, then clean it thoroughly.

Diamond grinding

Mechanical preparation

Professional diamond grinding equipment opens up the concrete surface so the epoxy has something to bond to.

Surface cleaning

Thorough cleaning

After grinding, the surface is properly cleaned and vacuumed to remove dust before any coating is applied.

Garage concrete cracks filled and repaired before epoxy coating
Crack repair available

Crack repair when needed

Existing cracks can often be repaired during surface preparation. Repair needs are evaluated based on the concrete’s condition and may involve an additional cost.

Good to know Epoxy is a coating system, not a concrete leveling system. Existing slopes, elevation differences or structural irregularities may need a separate evaluation before installation.
